The Cacophony

She stood still outside the room…

It was only a few hours back that she saw him leave for work…


And now it’s all over. Mike left without telling her a good bye.

Her world stood still midst the cacophony of the hospital…


Only if he had not gone out today he could have escaped the shooting at the school.

  1. Such A good word. I remember specifically learning that word when I was about 12 years old, 65 years ago! I thought it was a good descriptive word. It has a nice sound to it as opposed to its meaning. It is certainly a good description of hospitals where the noise is full of buzzes, beeps and doors banging.
